Laughlin Nevada « Thread Started on Apr 30, 2009, 1:16am »
So, I left last Tuesday morning, riding my Sportster 883 from Salem to Laughlin Nevada for bike week. Could not have asked for better weather for the ride down. We rode to Turlock Ca. the first day, Turlock is just south of Modesto Ca. From there we rode into Laughlin Nv on the second day. We left Laughlin Nv. Sunday morning heading north to Las Vegas and into Reno Nv. where we stayed the night. From Reno we cut across to Mt. Shasta Ca. then rode into Salem that evening. From the time we left Laughlin we had a very strong headwind just being able to maintain 70mph, then catching a couple of minor rain showers in Oregon.
