Ok, got my cherry picker back today. Boys and I are going to try to get the engine out tomorrow or at least begin the process. Still have to find a motor and tranny tho, but I'm in no hurry as I plan on doing my lifts while I have no motor in it.

We didn't get the engine pulled, but did get it on 4 wheels and figured out how to get the hood open.
Here's the latest pic of it on all fours.

Thanks Reeper, will do. Went on Craigslist yesterday looking for an engine and tranny and found a possible one (see my post 88 cherokee). The current rig the motor is in might be worth saving but won't know til I get it home and start doing some tear down.
My future son-in-law and his friend are going to tow it to the house this morning. I'm hoping that if the only thing wrong with the motor is the head-gasket, then I'll be able to wheel it on Sunday. If it does well, then I'll save that rig and find a different motor and tranny for the Eagle.

Well, it looks like I've found a tranny for this baby. Once I have that, I'll start rebuilding the motor and get her going again. We'll see how much longer it takes me, lol.
