« Thread Started on Jun 6, 2008, 7:35pm »

This is my 2006 H3 when I got it in Sept. of 05'.

It came with 33" bridgestones, a rear locker, manual transmission, and a sunroof.

Here are a couple of more recent pics of my ride

I have added oem rock sliders, oem undercarriage protection, oem brushguard, an air compressor mounted under the hood, a yakima megawarrior gear basket, the hi-lift attachment & shovel attachment for the basket, a K&N air intake, Warn dual beam off road lights, Purple Cranium spyder rear diff cover, and cranked the torsion bars.

Future additions include: 35" tires, new shocks, a winch bumper, and new shackles for the rear.

It does very well. Having been to Browns camp a couple of times over the winter I could definitely benefit from some more aggressive tires. But have been impressed with the stock tires in dirt and on the rocks.

With the rocker protection and undercarriage protection I feel pretty comfortable tackling most obstacles and sliding or bumping a little bit.

This is the ARB bumper I want to get. It is just now available. I would get it in black, not red.

Looks good. I'll be looking for something like that myself soon for the cherokee. Who are you looking to purchase the bumper from?

You should check 4 wheel parts for your cherokee bumper. They carry ARB and Warn, both make great winch bumpers for you xj.

Every so often they have sales, like 10% off site wide.

Just got new front shocks and new bumpstops. I cranked my torsion bars an extra 2 inches. The new shocks are Bilstein with are longer than stock. The new bumpstops are also longer than stock. Both of these will help keep the ride like stock while benefiting from added clearance in front.

Next on my list is some BFG km2's!!

Sounds good to me. Can't wait to meet up and see your rig on the trails myself.

I now have a set of dual beadlock wheels sitting in my garage waiting for me to get some tires.

I also got rid of the chrome door handles, mirrors, and fuel door.

I had a week off of work and got the itch to do something to my truck. Even though I have new beadlocks sitting in my garage I decided to paint my wheels. I got the Duplicolor graphite wheel coating spray paint. When on pretty easy, it did take three coats. I think it turned out great!

I also painted the "H" in my H3 logos and I painted the grill.

The grill ended up a slightly different gray than the wheels, but for now it works. I might get a body color matched grill later on.

Pics are from Browns camp, we stopped on the way to the beach. The trails were pretty muddy so it was a quick trip.

Went to Sand Lake today on the way home. It was fun! We should make a run down there some time. It didn't take too long to get there, and there is a lot of room to play.

I like the look of the slate. Those beadlocks are awesome too.
