Ok, JeepGeek and I had a long discussion about getting a big group of the members together sometime in October.
Unfortunately, it'd have to be on a Sunday if I'm to attend.
So here's the big questions -
Where? I'd like 3 suggestions - of course TSF would be one, but would like something more centrally located for everyone.
When? I thought October would be great as it gives members enough time to plan and reserve that day for the get-together.
So post up your suggestions and we'll finalize after everyone has put there quarter in.

Anywhere around highway 6 is good to me. Just stuff easy, so I don't hurt my baby too much. ;D October will bring rain, which is fun to wheel in.

Well, from what I know of the Trask, most of it is easy stuff. As for TSF, for those of us who'd want to hit the tougher trails, you could be our video man. ;D

one good thing about TSF is if there is a section of trail you don't want to take you can bypass that section and then you can pick the trail back up Hope that makes sense

Very true as I've had to do that a time or two with my Monte. Some parts of firebreak are great for rigs with lifts, not my stock rig.

Exactly.. but not that I'm being a weenie about it.. ;D It's just, I have to drive her to work the next day. The stuff we did last weekend, ruts part, was a good baseline of what I like to see... Not so much crawling though... manily, I don't have the lift for it.

Well even with my stock rig, I can run a good portion of the trails at TSF. There are only a few in fact that I won't take my rig on such as Little Rubicon and 7-up.

Just a thought, when does hunting season open? I know many dont care, but myself, I would rather not get shot by a hunter because I was wheelin where he was hunting. I know different areas are open at different times for hunting. Other then that I am up to a trip

Trask will be open to hunters but TSF is off-limits to them. Right now is Bow season I think. I'll check with the local store as we have an Elk herd that comes thru here weakly right now and I've seen a few hunters tracking them.

How does Oct 21st sound? It's a sunday so I can go and in between the two hunting seasons.
