wow!! what a great day for a ride... just got back from a short 200 mile ride. Not to hot nor to cold. We went the back way into detroit, then out thru stayton, aumsville, jefferson, independence and stuff. It was fantastic riding

Did you stop and take a few pics of the scenery? I used to live in that area and would love to go visit it again sometime soon.

I bet, we saw a ton of them go by the house as the road we live on is part of a scenic route and the mountain can really challenge the rider with all its twists and turns.

It was another fantastic day for riding the bikes... We did a Florence run. Took hwy 99 thru Monmouth, Corvallis, and just before Eugene we took the cut-off to go to Triangle Lake. Stopped at the casino in Florence for lunch and to make a small donation. We then went up the 101 thru Yachats, Newport, Depo Bay, and into Lincoln City. There we made another small donation at Chinook Winds. From there we took Hwy 22 back to Grande Rhonde and stopped at Spirit Mountain. (yes, another donation was made) Then back to Salem. This ride was just under three hundred miles. Next time I have to remember to take the camera.
