Good Morning all, Just thought I would throw out that I purchased a new ride yestureday. I think my little Suzuki is on its last leg. I was looking forward to going up with all ot you with it but haven't had the chance to yet. I decided to let her go. Besides, I needed something a little bigger for the family anyway. I baught a 1977 International Scout yesturday. It is sitting on its stock ride heighth but that is going to change when I put a 4 inch lift in her, She has a 345 big block , T19 4 speed tranny, dana 300 transfer case, 307 gear which are going to be changed out. My plans are to toy her out like my Suzuki was with my winch and all the other goodies. Looking forward to meeting you all possibly on the next run. I will put some pics on when I get some.

Gotta love those scouts. Wish I'd been able to keep mine, but too much I didn't know how to do on it.

Thank you. I just ordered my 4 inch lift for it. Now I have to set this one up like I had my little Suzuki. I just sold it. Looking for a winch, Haven't decided which one I want yet. I should have taken the one off my Suzuki but the Money was too good for what the guy gave me for it so I wasn't going to complain.

Just put in my new lift. I really didn't have any problems to speek of except they sent me the wrong front shocks. Other than that it looks pretty cool, Oh, I bought another complete scout with the same 345 big block, 4 speed, dana 44's, dana 20 transfer. I bought it for $600 and it runs. My intent was to have it for parts since it was almost identicle to my 1977. This one is a 1975. Instead I decided to go radicle with this one and build it into a nasty rock crawler. This should be a fun build. I will take some photos of it and put on when I get a chance.

I am going to put a winch on the front, I also have a line on a set of paddles for the sand if I decide to go play that way for a day. Just adjusted the light bar and getting it ready for paint. Should be going on soon. Haven't decided which lights to put on it yet. going to modify the rear carrier and make it a swivel setup so it will make it a little easier. Putting my amp and sub in it probably this week. Haven't decided what tires I want to upgrade to. I Will probable go 33's though. Now my blue 75 Scout that is in my garage, Total Rock Crawler if the money holds up. Thinking about swapping out to J20 or J4000 axles. Spring over with a 4 inch lift and extended shackles. Full family Roll cage. Prerunner spare tire setup. 38 inch tires with bead locks, Lockers, Just cut the exhaust and hung the flowmasters but now I am thinking about shortning them and going through the hood. the whole shabang if I can afford it. Got it running good so I have started cleaning it up and welding the roll cage together. Steel has gotten outragious. I will try to get some pics and put them on line. A lot of work but got a great foundation to start with. The guy that I bought it from said that he couldn't get it running right and hasn't been started since last June/July timeframe. That is what happens when 4 of the 8 plug wires are on wrong, being 180 degrees out on the timing and you put a new carburator on and don't set the air/fuel mixture correctly. Runs good now though.
